I ordered the gallon size bags to use as snack transport for my child who is on a year round swim team. I hated packing her protein shake and snacks in disposable ziplock bags (we were going through 5 a week). The gallon bags are thick and hold a protein shake, granola bar, and other snack items. Not only does the bag serve to keep her snacks dry, the reusable ziplock bag also protect her swim gear from messes that have occurred from leaking drink boxes to crumbs from snacks.I wash the bags out with hot soapy water. The only pain is drying them out.I'm wishing I'd bought these bags a long time ago. I cringe at the thought of how much plastic my family has put into a landfill. Yikes!These bags are worth every penny!These are go great! Easy to clean I use a bottle brush with cold water and soap. I love that there is no residue smell and they have not been stained by the food (yet, hoping it won’t happen at all).
